Blair and Her Baby

Blair is an absolute baby lover. She wants to take care of her babies non-stop and if you ask her, they're always hungry. The other day after breakfast, she ran to get her baby and push her in the stroller. She didn't have an extra hand for the bottle, so she made do. I died laughing at her when she figured out that her pajama top was a great place for the bottle.

Cherry Hill

A little while ago, Grandma Erickson and our two favorite aunts came down and took us to Cherry Hill. We all had a blast. It is always a good time with the Erickson family, but this time was super great. All of the cousins came down and we had a big fun day.

Blair and Davis were in heaven. They loved the kid pool and water slide and the fact that their aunts were always wanting to play. I had never been there before, but had wanted to go, but I had no idea how great it really was. The kids could go down the little water slide by themselves and they also loved the lazy river.

We had so much fun that when it came to the two minute drive home, the kids couldn't stay awake. They were sleeping in the parking lot. When we got home, I tried to wake them up for some dinner, but it clearly wasn't happening. I got Blair in her PJ's while she was still sleeping and Davis was gone the second I finished getting him dressed.

Thanks so much for the fabulous day Grandma! We love you!

This was the only shot captured of Davis on the water slide

Erickson Family Reunion

We just had the Erickson family reunion. It was a great time. It's always so much fun to see all of the family and we had a great time hanging out at the cabin. We didn't get to stay as long as we would have liked, but we loved every minute we were there. We made it home without too many mosquito bites too, so I guess it was a successful trip.

Spence decided he should jump off the bridge Friday, but no one was prepared, so he undressed and jumped in anyway. After that Miranda, Kayla, and Jamie went too. Alex, Blair and Davis were disappointed that they couldn't jump in. They kept trying to take off their clothes to go too. What crazies. It was cold outside. I only brought my little camera and it turned out to be out of batteries, so I'll post more when I steal some from Mandy.

Farmington Days

This weekend was Farmington Days. Saturday morning, we went to the parade. We thought the kids might like it, but we had no idea. They thought it was the best thing ever. They totally got into getting the candy at the parade - Davis was on the non-stop watch out for it. He gathered so much that we would throw it down the street to the neighboring kids. Both of the kids were excited to see each new float and wave to the people on the float. We had a great time at the parade.

After the parade, we went over to the park to enjoy a little bit of the carnival. The kids loved riding the train, but the big draw after that was the park toys. While the kids were playing, Spence grabbed Davis and said they'd be back. When they came back, Davis' hair was blue. One of the booths had colored hair spray and Davis thought it was so cool.

Later that night, we went back to the park for free ice cream and fireworks with our neighbors Jared, Allie, and Zack. We had a great time and the kids loved every minute. We'll be back next year for sure if we still live near by.

Lagoon

We went to Lagoon today with my friend Emily in our ward and her little boy Jack. Farmington residents get into Lagoon for free and you can buy tickets separately for the kid rides. We went and watched the monkey show, had a picnic, and rode a few rides. "Bulgy the Whale" was the favorite due to the fact that it went up and down without the kids having to do something. We had a great time.

Hogle Zoo

The kids and I went to Hogle Zoo with Grandma Davis today. It was so much fun to take them this time because they can recognize the animals and tell me what they are and what they say. They were both super excited to see each new animal as we walked around.

We rode the carousal and they loved it as soon as Blair got Davis to let her ride the lion while he rode the gorilla. Getting off wasn't so fun. They didn't understand that their turn was over and the other kids wanted to ride too. They also loved the train ride.

We had a great day and enjoyed spending the time with Grandma!
