American Girl Doll Store

The day after Austin's wedding, Blair and I along with my mom, Emily, and Ivory went to the American Girl Doll Store.  We had a great time.  Blair had been looking forward to the trip for months and spending hours looking at the magazines that come in the mail and thinking about what she was going to buy with the money she'd been saving.  When we got there, we bought a new doll with hair, made appointments at the doll salon, and went to lunch at the cafe.  At lunch, they have high chairs for the dolls to sit in and dishes for the dolls too.  Blair was in heaven.  She loved every minute of it.  After lunch, we shopped around for a while and then went to the salon to get the doll's hair done.  Blair also wanted her doll's ears pierced, so we did that too. Blair was so cute while she was shopping because she was seriously debating what the best choices would be.  There are so many fun things at that place, I could have spent a ton more money, but we got lots of fun things, and lots of ideas of what she wants for her birthday and Christmas.  Before we left, we hit the photo studio where the girls got their picture taken and put on a cover of American Girl Magazine.  It's Blair's new treasure.  She wants to keep it on my dresser so it doesn't get ruined, but she looks at it multiple times a day.  We had a blast at the store and will for sure be going again.
