Milestone

Brant rolled from his back to his stomach for the first time today. He did it four times, so it for sure wasn't a fluke.

Fishing

Grandma Erickson has Davis and Blair camping today and tomorrow so Spence and I drove up to Colville for an afternoon of fishing. It's a beautiful day and we are sure having fun.

Fort

The kids decided to build a fort yesterday afternoon. They had so much fun doing it and thought it was so cool that I used to do that when I was a kid. They even convinced Aunt Miranda to sleep in the fort with them last night. They loved it.

Finger Paints

Yesterday, Davis and Blair did finger-painting out back. Blair loved it and Davis could have done without it. He doesn't really like to get his hands messy in things like this. Dirt is fine with him, but nothing like paint, pudding, or anything along those lines can be on his hands. He opted out of a few preschool projects last year, so I thought we do fingerpainting this summer so he could chill out a little bit, but he was done within the first five minutes and ready to wash his hands.
Blair on the other hand, could have painted all afternoon. Sometimes my two big kids surprise me.

Random

New cork board Spence put up in the playroom for the kids' art work...I love that it's not upstairs anymore.

Sunday Pics

Last week Spence and Davis had on their matching suits, which Davis thinks is so cool, so we took a quick picture before leaving. After that, the kids wanted a picture with me. It was making Spencer crazy trying to take a picture with Blair's crazy poses, but this one wasn't so bad.
Don't mind my hair- it's falling out like crazy and I have a lovely new receding hair line, but I've been to the doctor and I'm hoping it stops falling out soon and starts growing back.

Ward Carnival

The young men and young women in out ward had a BBQ/carnival for a fundraiser. Spence worked like crazy on it and was glad when it was over, but the kids loved every minute of it.

Four Months

Brant had his four month checkup on Monday. He weighed 15lbs 9oz (56th percentile) and he was 24.5 inches long (25th percentile). He's short and chubby- opposite from Davis and Blair.

Brant is such a good baby and we're happy to have him in our family. He lives to sit up in his Bumbo chair and watch what's going on around him. He pushes himself around with his legs when he's on his back and loves to play with toys. He had found his voice and is always cooing at us. Davis and Blair can make him smile anytime and they love to play with him.

He sleeps from 8:45pm to 6am and takes four naps a day. He eats at 6am, 10am, 1:30pm, 5pm, and 8:30pm. He also takes a bottle like a champ.

Grandpa Steve refers to Brant as B. Steve because Brant is named after him.

Brant is such a blessing to our family and I can't believe how big he is already.

I took this picture of Brant in the doctor's office while we were waiting.

Three cute kids...

Uruguay Montevideo Mission Reunion

Last week we went to Spence's mission reunion. It's been almost ten years since he came home. We had a great time visiting everyone and Spence was happy to have a few minutes to visit with President Gardiner.

Lehi Roundup

Mom and I went to the rodeo while Dad watched the three kids. Spence was out of town on the high adventure with the scouts. We had a great time.

Cabin Fun

We spent last weekend at the cabin with the Erickson's. We had a great time watching Sully swim, boating, hiking, and fishing. We sure love that place and Grandma and Grandpa for letting us come.

FHE

We talked about eternal families and drew pictures of our family. The kids were pretty proud of their work...

World Traveler

We got a passport for Brant yesterday and we got this cute picture on the first try. He's excited to go to Costa Rica.

Brotherly Love

Davis picked these Jammie's for Brant when he was born. When I put them on Brant for the first time last night, Davis wanted me to take a picture of them together.

By the way, I know it was over100 degrees last night- Davis just loves cozy Jammie's anyway.
